What stays on your device

Your typed name or nickname is processed in your browser. The generated identity history saved in local browser storage contains generated output only; it does not contain the original name or a reusable hash of that name. You can clear this history from the generator at any time.

What is stored when you share

Sharing is optional. When you request a replayable link, Name Chamber stores the generated fictional identity, its style and variant number, and the creation time. It does not store your typed name or the internal name-derived seed. The public link therefore replays the result, not your original input.

Basic result counters

A shared result may keep aggregate counts for views and for how many visitors start or complete its friend challenge. These counts are attached to the public result, not to a user account. This version does not require an account and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking code.

Downloads and native sharing

Image cards are rendered in your browser. When your device supports its native share sheet, the site asks the browser to open it. The destination service you choose has its own privacy terms.

Operational data

A hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and protect the service. Rap Name Generators does not intentionally put typed names into URLs or application logs.
